The biggest update is the new Hydraulic Bottom Out (HBO) system, which controls the last 25% of the shock’s travel. It smooths out hard hits and keeps your rebound fast and consistent, giving you more confidence on rough terrain. The HBO design has already proven itself on the FAST Ride Series shocks and is now perfectly tuned for the Fenix 2.0.
The Fenix 2.0 keeps FAST’s triple-circuit damping system for low-, mid-, and high-speed compression, along with the Velocity Dependent Piston (VDP) for better traction, control, and support. There’s also an independent climb mode, making long climbs more efficient without losing small-bump sensitivity.
FAST has also reshaped the shock to make it more compact and fit more modern frames — including the 2023–2024 Orbea Wild. The new head design is slimmer, lighter, and built to last.
Every Fenix 2.0 is hand-built and custom-tuned from CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium, with Viton seals and PTFE-impregnated anodising for durability and low friction. It’s designed to be fully serviceable and upgradeable, so you can keep it for life — simply have it re-valved or resized if you change bikes.
With FAST’s lifetime warranty extension, you can add another 12 months of cover after each annual service through an accredited FAST Service Centre.
